Gibraltar is the only country in Europe that as monkeys. I had read this and hoped that we would be able to see one. Well, that wasn’t a problem. We saw lots of our tailed cousins. Our tour guide offered some cashew nuts to an ape and he came right through the window, sat on my shoulder and ate the nuts.

ReplyDeleteHow did the monkeys get to Gibralter, but no other place in Europe? Did they swim from Morocco or maybe they were carried by seaguls? They look a little smaller than the baboons we saw in Africa and they look much friendlier and nicer.
