Egypt - Luxor Temple

After Karnak Temple, we returned to the hotel for dinner.  The plan was to see Luxor Temple after dark.  For one reason, it will be cooler.  It worked perfectly.  If we had continued the tour in the daytime, we would have had trouble enjoying it.  The Valley of the Kings had to be close to 100 degrees.  When we were at the Karnak Temple it had to be in the 90’s.  And, since both are on the Nile, it is not a dry heat.  There is plenty of humidity.  I wrote some postcards in the evening.  By morning, the cards were limp and stuck together.  Karnak Temple was larger, but Luxor was better preserved.
