The last thing on our excursion was a rug tying exhibit. They had two women who tied up to 200 knots per inch. Actually, double tied each knot.
They had a bucket full of silk cocoons. Each cocoon has 1 mile of silk thread. They spin several individual threads to give it more strength. Very cool.
